The big day is finally here: you’re moving in to your freshman dorm. In just a few short hours, your whole life will completely change, and that’s incredibly scary. Moving away from your comfort zone of your home, parents, friends, and so much more is a huge change. Here is some advice to ensure that your first few weeks of college will set you on track for your next four years.

It is that time of year again. The sun is out, closets are refreshed with new shorts and flip flops, and your next three months are planned with weekend vacations to the beach or pool. The only thing standing in your way are those pesky finals that professors think we should take to test or knowledge and prove that we should actually pass the course (to be honest, they are probably right).
There are many ways to gain this experience, whether it’s through student organizations, practicums, or experimental learning in the classroom. But overall, the best way is to get out there and experience it hands-on in the real world. And internships are your key to doing just that.
